Full course description

Description

Many organisations are beginning to realise the importance of protecting their inventions through patents. However, deciding where and when to patent your inventions may nevertheless prove to be a challenging issue for some organisations. This course seeks to equip participants with an understanding of common patent filing strategies. Participants will also learn how manage patent portfolios and help their organisations explore other revenue streams through patent commercialisation and monetisation.

At the end of this course, participants will not only understand how to detect patent infringement but also acquire knowledge on the patent filing process in Singapore as well as overseas. The content, pedagogy and methodology of this course are structured in a way that allows participants to review the course materials at their own pace. This course also allows participants to download and save a copy of the online content as a PDF document.
